Rita Mayer Davidson, nee Kominz, age 85, beloved wife of Donald S. Davidson for 30 years; devoted mother of Steven (Laura Cook) Mayer, David Mayer and Ellen (James Holtzer) Mayer; proud grandmother of Hallie, Charles, Richard and Wyatt Mayer; preceded in death by her first husband Richard H. Mayer; dearest sister of the late Herman Z. Cummins and sister-in-law of the late Marsha Z. Cummins; caring daughter of the late Louis and Rhoda Kominz. Chapel service Wednesday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
